Where to go
To delete your data from Doera, sign in to your account and go to your profile settings. The deletion controls are available in the Danger zone on the profile pages.
You can reach the deletion area from either My profile at /profile or the edit profile page at /profile/edit.
How to delete your account
- Sign in to the Doera account you want to delete.
- Go to My profile or Edit profile.
- Scroll to the Danger zone section.
- Type DELETE exactly in the confirmation field.
- Tick the checkbox confirming that the action cannot be undone.
- Select Delete my account and confirm the final browser prompt.
When the deletion happens
If the request passes validation, Doera processes the deletion immediately. The account is then signed out and redirected away from the private account area.
There is no self-service recovery flow after a successful deletion. If you want to use Doera again later, you would need to create a new account.
What can stop deletion
Doera will not complete deletion while the account is still involved in active platform activity that must first be resolved.
Deletion is blocked if you still have jobs you posted that remain active, jobs where you are still the selected doer and the work is active, or applications that are still awaiting a decision or have already been approved.
What is deleted from the platform
- Your account login and authentication record.
- Your profile information linked to that account.
- Messages sent or received through the platform.
- Reviews linked to you as reviewer or reviewee.
- Applications submitted from your doer account.
- Jobs posted from your customer account.
- Your selected-doer link on remaining jobs, where applicable.
What may be retained
Doera may keep limited records where retention is required or justified for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety, dispute-handling, or regulatory reasons.
This can include billing, transaction, consent, support, moderation, and security records for the period required by applicable law or for a legitimate follow-up need described in the Privacy Policy.
If you cannot access your account
If you cannot sign in and need help with a deletion request, contact Doera at info@doera.lu from the email address linked to your account whenever possible. Doera may ask for reasonable proof of identity before acting on the request.
Need help before deleting
If you need to close active jobs, withdraw applications, or understand what data may still need to be retained after deletion, contact support before submitting the request.
